Greetings! Hoping for some much needed help. I have a stock 93 5.0 99k which has been issue free until now.I went to start it Monday but did not hear the pump come on,switched it off and back on,this time it primed and started, backed it out the garage and the car cut off, tried to restart but pump was silent. Here is what I have checked or done so far;fuses, battery connection, grounds, inertia switch, grounds, voltage to coil, swapped the WOT A/C relay with the fuel pump relay which made no difference.I can tap on the fuel pump relay and the pump runs until I switch the ignition off,I jumped the pump at the test port, same condition as tapping the relay, comes on and runs until the key is switched off.Testing the fuel pump relay in run;pink/black 12 volts, red 12 volts, orange/light blue 5.8 volts and no voltage going to the pump on the green/yellow.I'm concerned with the 5.8 volts,by what I gather this is the ground sent from the EEC for several seconds to prime and the pip/TFI when starting/running,might be a bit off on that... At times it will start but it is intermittent, this afternoon I had the key on,pump did not prime, got out to check relay voltage again, lightly shut the door and I heard the pump prime,I hopped in and started it and let it run for 15 minutes, actually run good, cut it off and that was it,pump would not come back on.Not sure what I'm missing.I'm thinking the Computer has a issue.Any advice or tips would be great. Thanks
