somebody locally is selling a 93 cobra intake, upper and lower. its also at a great price. Now my question is, is it worth it? Or should i get a trickflow track heat. My goal is to have a high 12second na car. I just dont want to get the cobra intake and regreat it later. Any input would be great :hail2:

What heads do you have? If youve got TFS or AFR's get teh Cobra intake and send the lower to tmoss, hell make it work sweet! Plus, those things bring big $$$ on ebay for the original 93's. How much is he selling it for?

1SLWGT, GT40Ps are heads.. not intake. More than likely you've got a GT40 intake.

RYN, How much are they asking for it? If it really is a great price, I'd say go for it. You're not going to get more than maybe 10 hp more out of another intake. Plus, with a little porting it'll make as much or more than those intakes do.

 He's talking about an explorer intake that came from one with P heads. I mentioned the same thing you did to someone once and got bitched out big time. :nonono: But that's what he's talking about I'm pretty sure.

i got a cobra intake on my car and it flows alright as we speak im porting it but i was running 12.60s in the 1/4 the lower ports going to the heads are way to small but they open up real nice once ported
