93 Cobra Intake

I have a chance to get a 93 Cobra Intake for 200 dollars. I have a fully stock '89 5-Speed, soon getting 4.10 gears too. Is it worth adding this to stock heads? I will upgrade the throttle body to put on. Do I need any thing extra to go from stock to 93 Cobra Intake? Or any ideas or comments.

it wont be a HUGE difference, you will feel it a bit, but at the very least it will help when you do get a better set of heads. if its a real cobra intake (i.e. before they started being made in china), it wont need anything but gaskets.

$200 for a REAL '93 cobra intake upper and lower is pretty good.

If it says FORD RACING on the EGR neck however, it's a china copy.

It will work with your stock stuff. I noticed an increase in pull above 2500RPM when i tossed mine on with stock E7's.
