I know none were built, but it's been THE Mustang I've always wanted to build. I have a 93 Cobra driveline in my 88 Hatch now. My brother had a change in plans with his 4 cyl notch shell, and is giving it to me. Now all I need is the Cobra body kit, but there's a problem. I've never really liked the look of the Cobra wing on notch's or vert's. And I love Cervini's wing they have (other than the Cobra) I don't know what it's called off the top of my head.

I really started this thread to see if anyone else has done it or has pics of it done? Oh yeah, I even have the wheels, so it will look exactly like a Cobra, only it will be a coupe.

What do you guys think?

Hey, I saw you posted in another thread, but I didn't see a PM button. I want to see some more pics of your car with those wheels. That's not a bad idea.....A Cobra R notch....hmmmm. Maybe your pics will inspire me a little more.

Sweet, thanks. Those were the wheels I always wanted, until I wanted to build a 93 Cobra Notch. The R's are just black with a polished lip, right?

Yeah, I remembered that after I posted.

So no one has pics of a Notch with a Cobra kit?

Oh, and if this does make it that far, It will most likely be the Stalker front bumper. I guess I keep steering away from the whole "Cobra Nocth" idea, but hey, I like what I like.

Give me some feedback. Please.....Stalker or stock Cobra/GT front bumper? And CObra rear wing or the other Cervini's wing? I'll go see what it's called now, so I know.

Yes, very nice. Can you add either wing? Or the 93 Cobra wheels.

I don't like the look of those wheels, on that car. Mine is most likely going to be red too, so i think I'll stick with my 93 Cobra's.

Holy $h17. I was just doing some research on this idea again, and this was the first thread that popped up in google. From almost 6 years ago. My project is still sitting since family is priority. Well has anyone seen anything like what i'm looking for yet?

Nope. And there is probably a reason for that. Adding the kit and wing to a coup takes away from the look/lines of the coupe. If somebody wanted the kit lines they'd go with a hatch because it just flows better.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I think the fact that this is 6 years in the making is a sign that God doesn't want it to happen. Body kits on coupes make baby Jesus cry.

I think they can work, but they generally aren't done right. There is a delicate balance to strike on balancing out the rear end with the rest of the car. Spoiler selection seems to make or break them for me.
