93 paint question

I'm building a 1/25 scale model of the 93 Cobra. I'm leaning toward painting it Teal Green, mainly because I hardly ever see any that color round here. I want this model to be a close to the real thing as possible. My question is about the underside.....what color should it be?? Is it painted the same as the outer body, or should it be undercoated black?

I hope this helps. My dad's 93 is teal and it's about as original as one could get with just a little over 19,000 on it. The underside is indeed teal although it isn't clearcoated like the outside and the engine compartment is teal as well with what looks like only 1 coat of clear on it. It is just a little different looking compared to the exterior.
