93 Pony wheels on a 68 4 lug

I have someone that is interested in purchasing my 4 lug pony wheels for this 68 mustang with 4 lugs. We know that he will have to get an adapter for the bolt pattern. I have found an adapter that is 1 inch thick. My ? is, with this adapter installed, how will the pony's fit? Will they rub? Anyone have any pics of pony's on an older mustang?

Measure the offset of the 93 wheels, add 1" for the spacer, and check against this chart:

i have 85 gt wheels on my 64 falcon using the one inch thick adapters, and i have some slight fender clearance issues, so on a 68 there should be no issues. i had the same set up on my 66 falcon and had no clearance issues on that car.

I remember a few years ago there was a Mustang, 67/8 as I remember, that had ponys on it, so you wouldnt be the first to do it. I just saw the car around, never knew the owner though, so I cant verify how they fit. Looked like they fit ok though.
