94-95 Cobra Computer on 95 GT???

Hey guys, I was wondering if a 94-95 cobra computer would work on my 95 GT. I am turning it into a cobra clone so I have the chance to buy a used cobra computer and was wondering if it will work. I am hoping to use it so I can use a mass air meter for 24lb. injectors. Thanks for the input guys I really appreciate it!!!
Also has anyone got any advice concerning a SPEC stage 1 clutch for my GT? I haven't really heard anything about them. I am looking for something that doesn't have a lot of pedal effort. Thanks!!!

It should work, I think it's just the same computer with different programming. But unless you have other mods to bring the mechanical performance up to par with the cobra, you probably wouldn't benefit from it. It would probably hurt your performance since it is programmed for different injectors and MAF function (unless you are using 24lb injectors, which it's programmed for I think). I would go for the performance mods first, like the H/C/I & supporting mods then start messing with the computer. For the cost of a Cobra computer, you might as well spend a couple hundred more and get a tuner like the TwEECer or something.

If you put the cobra computer in the gt you will have to put in 24# injectors. The cobra, and gt use the same mass air meter. Just different inj., and the cobra computer calibrates the meter for the 24# inj.

I'm currently running the Cobra computer in my GT... All that was needed was the 24 pounders, like it was said above... Is it better.. who knows, I bought the car 1 year used back in 96, and it already had it installed...

I heard that the cobra motor is a more conservative tune. So you'd probably be better off, power wise, to stay with the gt computer.
