I have an opportunity to get a fully polished Cobra intake and wanted to confirm it will fit and work without issues on 89 Gt. Engine is stock other than cold air intake BBK Shorties. I know I will not see any measurable diff and I’m ok with that. Cars is a weekend warrior and local show participant. Just want to dress it up a bit.
It also has a polished intake spacer for taller valve covers but I’m not sure if it has clearance in the engine bay with factory hood.
Haven’t we all bought something just because we want it.
Thanks in advanced

Uhh will fit but pita if you don't have the rest of the sn95 parts. That has the cast elbow in it so linkages from a fox to sn95 should be fun... Might be better of waiting for a 93 style to show up with out a Dumbass asking price, there out there just have to beat the parts flippers to them.

Or grab an Explorer intake, have TMoss port it, clean it up, paint it, and done. Not a Cobra but flows just like one and you will have $$$ left over for a tank of post pandemic gas.

So I now see what you are saying about the linkages being a Royal PIA. Would this work. It’s less than the first one I was looking at and the guys on Fleabay are seriously on crack they want north of a grand so they can support the crack habit I guess

Yeah that's a 93 us cast upper just with a custom emblem, lower might be the later China casting or they ground off the part numbers when they polished it...you can buy the 93 repo emblems for $40ish. There just held on by double sided tape.
