The 94-95 Cobras had different MAF, injectors, and intake. Possibly different heads and cam? The 96-98 Cobras had the 4.6 mod motor.

The cobra had GT-40 heads with a little bit more aggressive cam. They had 24lbs injectors and a cobra GT-40 intake. I thought they had the same MAF. I never heard of them having different ones. They were all 5spds. AS for looks Cobras had different front bumper, a V6 looking rear bumper and I different spoiler with brake light. Oh yeah had underdrive pulleys too. I know there's more but I cant think right now.

They had a different MAF because of the different injectors.

V6 and Cobra just said mustang and GTs said Mustang GT. I thought the MAF on cobras were calibated for 19# and the cobras computer was set up for the 24#.

94-95 cobras just said MUSTANG on the back and then from 96+ they now say COBRA.

the Cobra didn't have a different MAF, same as was on the GT, different injectors though, the computer compensated for them just right...

Nice to know. I too was curious about the lettering. I knew the more modern Cobras said COBRA on the back, but I wasn't for sure when they started and in what years for the fourth gen Stangs.

Incorrect. The MAF for the 94-95 Cobra's must be calibrated for 19lb injectors. It has something to do with the computer.

Do a search on this site. There are several mentions of people buying a MAF for the Cobra calibrated for the 24's, but found out they should have bought one for 19's. This happened to me.
