Can someone with a 94-95 Mustang fan, or any other single fan setup explain how you wired your fan? I keep blowing 30 amp fuses with my setup now, I'm just tired of messing with it and I want it to be legit. Thanks for any help!
What kind of fan controller are you using, you need one that slowly brings the fan speed up to 100 percent so you dont have that big amp surge at spin up or turn on. The cheap controllers turn the fans on at full power which causes blown fuses and arcing terminal connections, make sure all your connections are soldered, crimped terminals will eventually arc and blow fuses. oem electric fans are amp pigs, thats why i went with a flexalite black magic extreme #185 fan with an amp draw of 18 amps. I have a mild 340 hp motor so this fan serves me well. I can sit in traffic here in virginia and the temp gauge stays right at 198 degrees.
My fan is currently tapped into the #17 fuse. It worked fine since I bought the car (2years) and now blowing the 30amp fuses. Will wiring the maxi fuse in line help?

For clarity, your fan control is tapped into CCRM Pin 17, yes? [The assumption is you installed a switch to ground on Pin 17].
Pin 17 is only for fan control, not powering the fan.
As I recall, the fan's power circuit is protected with a 60 amp fuse, not 30.
Have you any reason to believe the fan motor is starting to seize? Does your car have a circuit breaker near the fan connector? Have you pulled the fan connector to see if it started to melt?
In case you happen to have tried this: If you apply 12V to CCRM Pin 14, does the low-speed spool up without blowing a fuse?
