Anyone have experience with this kit?

They have one for about $170. Anyone know what they sound like vs. stock?

Hiya. I wouldn't buy it. Why? because I already did. Took a lot of fabrication man. It took a professional exhaust welder to get it right. Don't do it. As to the mufflers, the sounded pretty good!

i got the american thunder flowmaster exhaust and fit was perfect, i got the jegs h-pipe and the fitting was a little rough but with some time it went on. you get what you pay for.

Well, I have a MIG welder (and used to have a plasma cutter and JD2 tubing bender), and I'm not a-skeered of a little fab work I used to be into rockcrawlers before I got the stang. If I can convert an IFS Toyota to a solid axle (among other things) I hope I could handle some exhaust pipe. Then again, on these cars I guess we are shooting for pretty, not just tough...

I did notice that they have the FM American Thunder for $239 wich seems to be a decent deal. I think I'd rather spend the extra to get the FM unless the Jegs stuff sounds similar.

What was the exhaust note like? Is it just a deep rumble, or does it have the distinctive 5.0 sound? (oh how I yearn for that sound!)

sounds great, i get alot of comments about it, nice and deep but it wasnt as loud as i wanted it, now i've added headers and a cam but im still in the process of putting it back together.

It had a deep rumble and sounded pretty good. No kidding. Not like a flomaster though and lets face it I am a flowmaster guy but those jegs sounded good.
