I’ve seen this question everywhere but have never been able to find a straight answer. Will a 94-95 T5 fit in a v6 car using the v6 bellhousing? I’ve read the input shafts are different length but also that they are the same and the bellhousing is different but I haven’t found an answer

I should add that I mean a 94-95 T5 from a 5.0

The input shaft on 94-95 5.0 T5s and 94-98 V6 T5s are the same (99-04 V6 T5s should be as well but the speedo pick up is different). I have a 94 5.0 bellhousing in my fox and have had both SN95 V6 and V8 T5s connected to it - and they work fine. The 94-98 V6 T5 is basically a pre-90 5.0 T5. The 94-95 GT T5s are the same as the 90-93 non Cobra T5s - just with a longer input shaft.

So in theory a 94 GT T5 could fit properly in my 01 V6 without modification using the v6 bellhousing?

Thanks thats good to know. The car has a 4.2 with only 40k on it but the rest has nearly 170k with a very noisy T5. trying to find one specifically from a 99+ v6 car is hard
