94-98 cobra foglight swap

i have a 96 GT thats recently had some front end damage. im replacing the bumper cover with a cobra cover and so i need to switch to cobra foglighst also.

my questions

do i need new brackets for the cobra lights? or just the housings?

and are the plugs for the lights the same?

anything else ill need to switch over?

im pretty sure that your going to need new brackets with the cobra headlights. And the plugs for the lights are the exact same thing as the GT

the brackets are totally different between the cobra and gt foglights. most cobra foglights already come with the bracket included. just did this a few weeks ago myself, very simple

thanks for the info. i figured id need new brackets along with the foglights but just wanted to make sure before i ordered something i dont need. also glad to hear the connectors for the bulbs are the same.

do the brackets for the cobra foglights use the same holes in the bumper support as the GT fogs do? or will i need to drill new holes?

the cobra fogs just use the 2 bolts that are on the back of the bumper that the gt used. the one on the bottom of the bumepr is no long used
