I am on the fence right now, whether to replace my tired yellow stockers with a stock replacement or a cobra looking headlight? Either will certainly look better.

How do all the aftermarket ones on ebay compare to stock? Fit, durability etc. Car is not a daily driver and rarely driven at night. Would stock looking replacement with a brighter bulb be fine. I will be keeping amber side markers as I just am not a fan of the all clear look.

Seems stock aftermarket are about $55 a pair and Cobra's about $120.

Any thoughts, experiences, pics?

Get the cobra pair off ebay...They make the car look so much better

No leaking/durability problems here, had them on about a year.

Cobra headlights are nice but you may want to consider some smoked headlights. They look great and you can normally find them on ebay for about $135.00

I bought the replacement headlights and corner markers from Ford. Paid a hefty price, but no headaches about whether they would fit or not. I think it is worth the extra price.

I actually think they would look great on your car. The only color i dont think they would look good on would be white.

... or not smoked, if you're into the "chrome" look -- my ride (ebay heads and corners):

I got the clear cobra ones off eBay and they made a huge difference in visibility even with the same bulbs. Smoked lights wouldn't look too bad, but I really liked the way the clear ones looked.

Look out for those clear corners on eBay though, mine were CHEAP. They looked like some guy made them in his basement with superglue and they didn't fit very well. They came for free with the cobra lights.

I have the ultra clear corners and lights. There are NO lines through mine like the cobra clears and corners. I also used the full Silverstar bulb treatment as well. At night the difference is absolutely amazing. WELL worth the $180 I spent on the lights and $50 I spent on bulbs.

taken the other day.. car was fairly dirty

//edit
I guess that pic doen't really show my lights.. heres a better one from a month or two ago.

Yeah -- the silverstars + the clear cobras make a WORLD of difference with night driving. Some people give me the high-beams 'cause they may be a tad too bright... oh well....

I look around on ebay and there are many different varieties of clear lights+corners.

In your opinions, which one is the best looking light at a cheap price? I have a white car now with yellow headlights. I have silverstar bulbs and still no nightime visibility.

Also, once you get the clear headlights, what is the best thing to do with the yellow fog lights?

Thanks!
