Clean the MAF up good, check your iac and tpc, and change the fuel filter

i fixed the throttle body backfire it the timing was off. um its not so much that it has a rough idle it more the motor moving around a little tomuch? now it is that normal for a 94 cobra its like when your sitting at a redlight it does it the rpms dont drop or nothing its just the motor itself danceing around. Motor mount looks a little ****ty on the drive side. could that be it. thanks.:SNSign:

If the RPM's do not bounce around, and you can actually see the motor "moving", and you can feel a vibration...sounds like a motor mount to me

Get some new ones, and enjoy.

my 95 does the same thing... Has a very slight stumble every few seconds at idle....

my 2000 GT DID THE SAME THING!!!! And it was a completely different motor, lows miles, mostly stock lol.. It's just something I've learned to live with and doesn't bother me.. RPM's stay the same...

If it runs with a slight miss at idle, run a cylinder balance test after pulling codes. This will pick up the slightest bit of non-contribution from a given cylinder.

Good luck.
