Correct me if i'm wrong, but im planning on doing a motor swap with my '94 into my 66, but putting the intake and 750 carb on it.
Can I use the 94's dizzy and just get a MSD 6AL or similar to run it correctly, or is it more worth my while to get a vaccuum advance dizzy for it? The 94's is brand new, so i'd like to use it, and an msd box may be beneficial anyways, I just didn't know if it can be done that way.
Thanks.

You cannot use the '94 distributor without a computer to control the timing.

Sounds like you should be swapping to a duraspark distributor from a mid-80's engine.

The 750 carb will be a poor choice for a 302 as well

85 dist if you have a roller cam
84 or older if you have a flat tappet cam

use the duraspark with the msd box if you want

So.... the MSD 6AL doesn't take place of the computer in regards to timing? I thought it did that for me and then was adjustable as well.

If that's the case, i'll just buy a new dizzy with vaccuum advance.

Will have the E-cam, afr 185's, edelbrock dual plane, edel 750, long tubes(unsure which ones yet) and stroking to 331 since i'll have it out. That's why the 750 not the 600

You can run it, only the timing advance won't work.
