I am in the process of doing a SN95 brake swap to my 92 GT. I am putting new hubs on the 1994 spindles and would like to know the size of the spindle nut? I used a 36mm to remove the nuts, but it felt like it had alot of play to it, maybe its not metric. I think the proper torque when installing the nuts is around 220FtLbs, any help on any of this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just replaced my wheel bearings too, and its the one of the simplest fixes on our year mustang. The Torque rating for the spindle nut is around 221-295 (Chilton Manual). I had a 3/4 inch driver on my torque wrench, and could not find any metric size sockets, so I had to use standard size socket. Unfortunately Im not 100% on the size. If you have a standard size kit, just try which one fits best. I believe it is 1 3/16" inch socket or the next size up or down (at least this will give you a start).

Thanks for the input.
