I have just installed BBK Shorty headers and I have Edelbrock Intake.. The EGR tube is too long...both the old tube and new one that came with headers too long. Any suggestions on how to remedy this issue????
Might have to cut it to the length needed, and then use a pipe flaring tool. Only problem there would be that's typically meant for soft metals like copper. For steel you might have to heat it up before you can flare it.
Since you got two of those tubes, might be worth a try on one of them. Another option would be add a phenolic intake spacer (1/4, 3/8, 1/2in) depending on how much height difference is required. But of course that could present clearance issues if sporting the stock hood.
