my 94 GT started running bad about two weeks ago. it was like it was driving with the E-Brake set, wouldnt really accelerate, and was running like it had a huge cam. i found a 2 vacuum leaks, fixed them, started it again and tried to back it up a short hill and it barely had the power to make it up the hill. once there it ran for about 1 minute, died and has not fired since. i had a mechanic that i know come out with his computer to pull the codes but he ran some tests first and decided that it was the ignition module because when a test light was on the + side of the battery the light came on when touched to the module. so i replaced the module and still have nothing, the light still comes on when touched to it. i did find a wire in the inner fender that had been rubbed bare, i wrapped it in electrical tape, still had the problem. im wondering if there is something else grounding out the ignition module? the car has a 95 cobra intake, a 255 LPH fuel pump, adjustable regulator, 24 LB injectors, SCT chip tuned by brenspeed, cold air. i just put a new richporter distributor in, a new coil at the same time, also have new plugs and wires. i have checked for fuel pressure which is all good...
