I have a 94 lincoln continental... It has the 4.6 in it and im curious is the mustang 4.6 is anything alike it? I was wondering if there are ways to mod my car. Im not looking for it to do 12's im looking for maybe some cheap headers or something to make it a bit louder... Any ideas?

Thanks for the help.

Try some Flowmaster muffs. That will give you a good sound without breaking the bank.

They do not share that much in common with a mustang 4v at all. Exhaust manifolds are completely different due to being FWD. Looks like you are pretty much limited to welding in a set of mufflers.

I thought '95 was the first year of the DOHC 4.6L Continentals??

ANyway, i think HP is 275HP.

They are pretty different from the mustang DOHC motors. I know the motor can't be used for a RWD conversion in a FOX. The Mark 8 has a similar motor but is more mustang like. Different intake manifolds and cam profiles though

I have one of those blocks sitting in my garage from a continental motor I took apart that I got from my work. The back of the block where a trans bell housing would bolt up to is very small in diameter, I don't know what rwd transmission out there would even be able to be bolted up to it. Also the left side of the block there are no bolt holes to where you could bolt up a motor mount.

95s are the first year for the 4.6 4v
