Looks like the hose from the waterneck that hooks up to the hard lines that lead to heater core. dont know what you would call it.

the 94 -95 cobras are equipped with a oil cooler. that is one of the hard lines that goes down to the oil cooler.

FYI. Ford discontinued that hose and the hoses that connects to the oil cooler at least that's what the Ford parts guy told me after looking up the part number. If it's not leaking I would leave alone.

now why in the hell would they do that, so i guess that someone would hafta try and fab up somthing, or use a custom/aftermarket oil cooler setup if they wanted to run one?

Well if that is coolant coming from and going to the waterpump via the oil cooler then the same hoses for GTs could probably be used. Hard to tell from the picture where the hoses for the heater core are coming from. Anyways, the diameter of the hose coming from the waterpump look the same as the GT's hoses. Maybe look at the Goodyear hose kit for our cars. It came with every hose needed.

Looks like someone bypassed the heater core and the thermostat bypass.

That is indeed an oil cooler line. This oil cooler setup is why there is not a 94-95 cobra specific goodyear hose kit. Those lines are available, but take quite a bit of work to find.

Thanks for the input. The hose I have was cut half way by the previous owner to install a flush kit. Over time the plastic joiner has melted and I need to join the hoses together with something better like a hose joiner. Any ideas of a good quality one. I'm guessing its 3/4 inch?

I'd go to your local hardware store. I got a metal 5/8 - 3/4 hose joiner at my local True Value. I know that they had same size to same size, too. It was even a 'radiator hose' style with the single 'nipple' (the larger ring to seal the connection, like on the waterpump) rather than the common multiple barbs per hose. It is most likely 3/4, as my 5/8 - 3/4 adapter was used to connect the waterpump's 3/4 to the heatercore's 5/8.
