Did all cobra's in 95 have the special wing and trunk? Mine has one like a GT would. I'm sure its not worth changing back if it did, just wondering if I half a car here...

Are you sure it's a Cobra? Or Fobra? Or did someone switch the deck lid/wing out?

What's the 8th digit in your VIN? ..... (unless you mind).

Its a cobra. I've checked all that. Has the d and all of the cobra engine parts, cobra on the airbag, white guages, etc. I guess at some point the trunk was swaped.

sorry, you can't have it back
It will soon be canary yellow for my '95 Fobra R

The wiring for your 3rd brake may look hacked/tapped then cause the two different lids had a slightly different plug (as I found out when looking at the light in the cobra spoiler vs. stock stang light in the lid) The '95 Mustang electrical guide also pointed something like this out too.

That's the sucky thing about having a 94-95 Cobra (and only those years) the Cobra decklid is very hard to find. In 96-98, they went with the standard GT decklid and wing. If the decklid gets damaged beyond repair, then you must go on the treasure hunt for a replacement.

This is what I have on the back of my 95 cobra. I'm getting the Saleen s281 wing for it so It works out I guess. If I had the right setup I probably wouldn't chang it though.

Jeffrostang - I think you're doing the best with your situation. Since you have the GT decklid, the S281 wing will look 5,678,432 times better.

Yikes! At that point I would delete my wing. SN95 Cobras look without a wing.
