Hello, I am seeing so much conflicting info online. If I want to upgrade the 95 Cobra pump without modifying the hanger, which pump is correct? Is the larger, steel supply line in the 95 hat an issue with the rubber hose that goes from pump to hat?

I can't say for sure, but based on those part numbers I think the first or the last one would work. The middle one is from a later F150 lighting, which probably won't work without major modifications. I'm still running the stock fuel pump, but as far as I know the Cobras aren't any different from GTs as far as the pumps go for '94 and '95.

Any fuel pump in this form factor:

...will fit in your tank and hanger without modification. Your choices range from 88 Liters Per Hour all the way through 300+ Liters Per Hour.

If you don't have engine upgrades planned then you don't need to upgrade the fuel pump. A larger fuel pump will not make the car better, faster, or stronger. If you [do] have mods planned for the future, a Walbro 255L High-Pressure fuel pump is what I recommend. By itself, it will supply enough fuel to support enough power to split your block in two.

There shouldn't be any difference in the hose connection between the pump and the hanger. If you are able to have downtime with the car, I would suggest pulling the tank to see what type of pump and hanger are there.

I ordered a stock replacement pump for my '95 Cobra a few months ago. When I went to install it, I found that the previous owner had had a dealership install a new pump and hanger assembly at some point. The hanger had a part number tag that specified it was for a 1998 Cobra. The pump and the hanger both had a build date of March 2002.

My point is that the bottom of the hanger where the fuel strainer attached was completely different between the pump I ordered for a 1995 Mustang and what was in the tank on my car. The 1995 stock replacement pump wouldn't fit in the hanger my car had. In my case, the GSS341 was the correct pump.
