If you don't beat him like a red headed stepchild, you need to hand in your Mustang keys.

A Del sol ran that. Is that what he said or did you witness this run. Because you should be able to beat him with you e-brake engaged through the whole race. Better yet to make it fair stand out side of your car while he takes off, then open the door start the car engage the e-brake, then take off and wait for him in at the finish line.

If he wraps it high enough he has 160 horsepower with the VTEC. Weighs about 2600 lbs I think. But my lug nuts require more torque than his engine makes, which is about 1/3 of what yours does. Beat him down, no excuses will be accepted...

if he has a "built" motor with cams etc. I can definitely see a 14.8........car weighs nothing.....but that would prolly have to include cams, pistons, tb, air intake, cam gears(adjust timing).......and anything else i can't think of.

jason

run him and find out but unless he is straight up with you about whats done, i wouldn't run for money

You guys are underestimating the Del-Sol. Some of em came with SOHV VTECs and some with the DOHC VTECS, they dohc ones can do low 16's/high 15's stock. 14's are more that attainable in one with a good amount of bolt-ons.
