95 gauge cluster

is it possible to switch a v6 gauge cluster to a v8? i know they will plug right in. and that the 94-95's have mechanical gauges. so would everything still work properly? or would it change the speedo and rmp's?

At the very least, the numbers printed behind the needles won't match what the V6 computer is outputting, so it will visually be wrong. Are you just putting a V8 cluster in the V6, keeping the V6 computer and engine? Or are you swapping the engine out? A little background would be helpful.

i am keeping the motor and computer. just changing out the cluster. i figured that it might work because the 94-95 have mechanical gauges.

It should work but the readouts on the tach and speedometer will be off. The 4 side gauges are the same.
