95 GT 5.0L ????????????

does the 95 only have the ECM plug under the dash or does it have the one in the fire wall to i work for dodge and there scaners will not let me in or i tried canadian tire scaner i wont nither i am using the one under the dash am i going to have to got ford ??my check engine light comes on when i am on the highway for 2min then goes off for 2,3mabey5 min then back on??

If you have a V8, you use the OBD-I connector on the passenger side firewall area (between the firewall and strut tower).

The ALDL under the dash is only for the OBD-II V6 cars.

?

mine is a v8 3o2 but why would it have the one under the dash ??

Yes, all 94-95's have OBD-I and II connectors. The I's are for V8's and the II's are for V6's.

thank i am going to plug it in at ford tomarrow get some cods i hope .If the light just flashes on and off every 5 min or so will it still store the code

The code should indeed be stored in the KAM, even if the CEL is not on at that exact moment. That said, some people have had trouble finding the code if the CEL was not on. I havent had this issue so I cannot comment.

If you are not getting a hook up at the dealership, you can pull the codes yourself with a paperclip if you want. Or for 30 bucks, you can get a nice code reader with an LCD display.

And if you do have an in at the Ford dealership and your CEL flashes on often, they can probably view PID's for you and see what the issue is in real time.

from what it sounds like going off and on and back off at cruise, I bet its a EGR issue.
