95' GT foglight bulb number??

hey everyone. newbie here. i searched and really didn't see the part number. i have searched the internets, lol and saw a 870 bulb. went to the auto parts store and the little display says 873 bulb. so which is it? i have a 95' GT 5.0.

Go with what the book says, 873 sounds right, but I don't remember for sure.

873's correct.. 90% sure.. if you still have your owners manual it should say in there.. and welcome to the site!

mine says its supposed to be 893's

When you get them make sure they seal good when you turn them....I got screwed and mine didnt seal and I ended up with about half an inch of water in one of my foglights, now its all yellowed and dim...

Yeah i think i used sylvania 893s last time they went out.

thanks. i have the owner's manual somewhere around here.....


looked online at advance auto and auto zone they both say 893.

i guess i will try that.

IIRC, one can run 885's (same bulb dimensionally but more wattage).

Search or check yourself before doing so, as my memory is not what it once was.

And of course this would be for off road use only.

cool. my mustang is not lowred so it looks like it is ready for off road.
