I have a 95 GT with full mac exhaust, TFS street heat intake, E303 cam among other mods. Here's my problem, at full throttle when I get to 4500rpm or so the engine sputters and runs pretty bad. If I back off the throttle and drive "normal", it is fine. Got any Ideas? I had the O2 sensors go bad on my 87 and I think it acted the same way, but thats been years ago so I don't remember for sure. It might possibly be the fuel pump. I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'd say fuel pump is a definate possibility. Mine did something very similar and as soon as it was replaced the problem was gone.

Mine did exactly the same thing. I finally found out the throttle position sensor on the throttle body was not plugged in completely. Good luck.

from that description many possibilities arise....check the fuel filter, put in a fuel sytsem cleaner too....fuel pump sounds quite logical....what kinda gas mileage you get cause I think a bad O2 sensor would yield poor mileage too but also a possibility..those are my thoughts.

FYI, If anyone takes a look at this. I replaced the fuel pump, nothing! Decided to advance the timing and wouldn't you know it $100 later and a free mod fixed the problem! It needed a bigger fuel pump anyhow.

whats your timing set to now. It sounds to me like you may have forgot to put the spout in or something if it was breaking up around 4500
