I joined this forrum in hopes of help through the process of swapping the harness into the mazda. I have started with 2 complete vehicles. 92 mazda b2200 with shot engine ( only reason I bought it was for the swap) and a 95 gt 5sp that appears to have been a county salt vehicle for many years. Lol.
I have for the most part all the dimensional problems solved. Engine placement, trans placement ect. But I'm wanting to be ambitious. Making the ac,power steering work as well as leaving it fuel injected. I'm not in a big rush as it is just a project and want to do it right without cobbling right now iam in the process of pulling the wiring from the gt and I'm going to place it in mazda before I set engine in.
In my mind I want to set the ecm separate from guages. And re wire the guages from the mazda into the gt harness. I know the speedo is electronic and that will be a separate devil.
My question is what do I have to have going into the computer to have the engine run properly and what color are the wires. Iam going to mount the gt fuel tank in the mazda also.
