This 1/4" thick hardened washer installs under the lower ball joint castle nut and washer, when using SN-95 Spindles with 87-93 Ford press-in Ball Joints.(all stamped steel Mustang control arms and the improved FFR Tubular arms.) The purpose of the washer is to allow the cotter pin hole to line up with the slots in the castle nut when the nut is tightened. This is the same approach as used by Ford Racing in the M-2300-K Cobra Brake Kit. Supplied in bare steel - requires painting. 2 per car.
