How did you remove the air trapped in the engine? The V6 will overheat unless all of the air is removed.

Search on V6 coolant refill procedures.

Start with the motor off. Open the engine vent value. Add coolant into the radiator until coolant comes out the engine vent.

Close the engine vent. Note, the motor is not running at this point.

Run the motor until at full operating temperature. Allow to cool.

Add coolant to the radiator and overflow tank.

It may take several heat/cool cycles for all of the air to get out.

DO NOT open the engine vent while to motor is running.
DO NOT open the engine vent while the motor is hot.

Also test run the heater. If the heater suddenly stops working, STOP. This is a sign there is air in the system.
