I know somebody who has a 4.6 with the following mods

O/R X Pipe
welded in flowmasters
pulleys
4.10's
Intake of some sort

he has a rather large mouth with the car.. I told him theres really no way on street tires your even going to break into the 13's.. blah blah his car is WAY fast blah blah..

the kids 16 and cannot drive.. his first car.. his dads hand-me-down..

he runs a consistent 9.3 at the track..

I told him with the 1/8th mile times he's pulling hes not gona get a 13..

then told him theres no way the cars making over 225rwhp..

can somebody help me prove this kid wrong? or am I wrong?

He's probably closer to 210-215 rwhp. In that car that's means a mid to high 14 driven properly. How can you prove him wrong? The only way will be to make him go to a 1/4 mile track and make sure that lots of people see him run.

Pull up my profile to see mods. Then beat him on the head.

I never ran mine stock but with gears and exhaust I ran 14.7...and that was on a good night. Otherwise it was higher 14's to low 15's

seeing as how he's a bad driver, he won't make it into the 13's with his mods. maybe a better driver, ideal conditions, optimal traction, it would come close.

Nope, unless he's running slicks and your track is below sea level there's no chance.
