96-98 cobra hood

I recently got in a car accident and need a new hood and i really have a thing for the 96-98 cobra hoods. i found this one on blueovalindustries. anybody have experience with this brand?

I'd love to get one of the 96-98 Cobra hoods myself. I can't speak for this particular hood, but BOI tends to sell some pretty good quality stuff. I would imagine this would fall into that category as well. I'd be curious if the underside is finished smooth as well?

does the 96-98 cobra hood have more underhood clearence than the stock GT hood??

It has a little more clearance. The reason they lifted it is because the strut tower bar is higher on the 4.6L Cobra due to the intake, than it is on the 5.0L.
