As already covered .... the 96-98s had their issues. But, for the most part great cars.
SRT Handz pics are awesome. Official press/coffee table book quality!!!
The stock look is still hot, especially cleaned and slightly lowered.
As for rims .... everyone will ave their own opinions on what looks good.

I need to get some more recent pics. I'll be putting a Saleen body kit on it this winter now that I have the KB SC installed. (Going to fire it up tonight for the first time)

Some shots of my '97 Gt, I hope to have some new smoked headlights soon, but this is how it looks now. These aren't the most recent pics, but nothing has changed since I took these.

Not to hijack or anything, but how many options were there for '97 & '98 interms of color/texture on the 17" wheels?

So far i've seen:

1) Chrome(only seen it twice) DTNODYA is the 2nd time.
2) Non clearcoat. Looks like what GDawg has, may or may not.
3) Clearcoat(like mine)
4) Clearcoat w/ black. Like what fvcrew22 has.

Here's my contribution for now. As soon as i fine my camera I'll post some more recent ones.

edit:

The car has been great over the years. No problems with reliability, i have 126,000+ miles. The worst thing that has happened is the cracked intake manifold, but that is just an excuse to start modding more...

I also really like this bodystyle, drove a few and almost bought one... but if I got this body style I would start off with a 5.0 under the hood.

My car is definitly nothing special compared to any here, however I guess i'll share a few horrible-quality photographs.

View attachment 448525 No longer have the "MUSTANG GT" decal. It's been gone for a while though at times I feel like purchasing another. I had a white one before the red, though it stood out quite a bit. I took the red one off due to me not installing it properly and a few letters had some wrinkles. View attachment 448527

I don't have any good pictures of the black bullitts View attachment 448537 View attachment 448539

I'm considering painting some parts on my car black also. What are your opinions on this? I left the "possible" painted parts without color View attachment 448541 or maybe even View attachment 448543 It's just a thought and I haven't really considered it all that much
