Where did u say $500 is neglidgable or anything like that, u said u could get them for the exact same price. $500 is the absolute miniumum most likely, like the guy said most are $1,000 above what 98 costs which is hardly the same price.
Cool, I've never seen your tail lights before so I didn't know if they were the same as mine or not, I've only seen the front of your car and it was rapidly disapearing in my mirror.
Update Reverse input drum changed from 7-element roller to 14- element, then to mechanical diode.

Reason Reduced failure of the intermediate sprag.
Note The AODE came equipped with the 7- roller element drum. The 4R70W came with the 14- roller element drum. The 14-element drum is suppose to be the stronger of the two because it has twice as many rollers in the element. However, the 14- element sprag still fails in police cars, fleet vehicles, taxis and limousines. In order to reduce sprag failure Ford has released a new design reverse input drum that uses a mechanical diode.
