Cool, I've never seen your tail lights before so I didn't know if they were the same as mine or not, I've only seen the front of your car and it was rapidly disapearing in my mirror.:D

Update Reverse input drum changed from 7-element roller to 14- element, then to mechanical diode.

Date - Late 1997

Reason Reduced failure of the intermediate sprag.

Note The AODE came equipped with the 7- roller element drum. The 4R70W came with the 14- roller element drum. The 14-element drum is suppose to be the stronger of the two because it has twice as many rollers in the element. However, the 14- element sprag still fails in police cars, fleet vehicles, taxis and limousines. In order to reduce sprag failure Ford has released a new design reverse input drum that uses a mechanical diode.

· Sprag element
· Retainer and snap ring

Interchange Will fit all past models.
