i have a weird noise from front pads while driving. more like a clunking noise, i removed pads, everything looks normal, only hardware was 1 pin, 1 washer and 1 clip, same on other side. put all back together, noise got worse, i am not sure if i'm missing any additional hardware! thanks guys
My guess is that you are missing the anti-rattle clips that sit on either side of the brake pads. The factory ones have rubber inserts to help dampen sound, too. They can be purchased at most auto parts places but will not have the rubber inserts.
