My 96 Cobra has an overheating problem. I already replaced the water pump, thermostat, expansion tank cap, and fluids. I have also burped the system. The fan also works. The bottom end was just rebuilt with forged internals, gaskets, and I also deleted the EGR. The motor overheats after about 5 minutes of driving it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Overheating

First make sure the thermostat is in correctly. Second, make sure the water pump is pumping the right way. Third, and I hate to say it, maybe the shop dropped some gasket material in the system while doing the bottom end. It only takes a small amount of crud to stop up the system.
Good Luck -Steve-
