On the 1-2 upshift, the transmission acts like it doesn't want to shift, almost like it tries to shift than tries to down shift itself. And this is when there is a heavy load in the car, or i am really getting on it. And sometimes when it happens, i let off the gas pedal and it downshifts really hard into first.

Took it to aamco transmissions, and no codes came up. Took out the PMC, and checked everything over. All looked good.

Any ideas?

Do a search, it's the 1-2 accumulator piston/housing. It's from prolonged periods of heat wear due to poor heat exchanging by the stock set-up. Your torque converter is likely soon behind. Get a B&M super cooler, change out the accumulator piston pieces (dont need to drop trans, just pan), then fill with Mercon V and you should be set as long as you cross your fingers.
