Hey everyone I am new to this forum and I have a current problem with my 96 Gt that does not want to start. It cranks until the battery dies but it won't turn over and I have currently replaced the fuel filter and Ign. switch and still nothing. I have checked to see if the fuel pump is working correctly and it is, the car has plenty of fuel pressure and spark. I have heard of the PATS system having problems but it doesn't seem to be this either, I can spray starter fluid into throttle bottle and the car will run 3-5 sec. and it shuts off which also tells me there is good spark but at this point I am cluess I am currently thinking about bad gas maybe. The car has sat outside for 3-5 months and it was running just fine before, the filler tube gasket at the gas tank has torn and the car was leaking some fuel before I let it sit, would this cause any problems?
I am so frustrated and can't seem to figure this one out, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
