Ok guys its been awhile since I have been on but I need some advise. I currently have eibach sportlines and LOVE the stance. But lately the rear has been making a clunking sound. I have heard that it comes from the upper control arm bushings. So i took a look under the car and all the bushings on the control arms look dry and cracked. Also the pinion snubber is the original and is sitting up against the rear end when the car is sitting with its own weight on it. THe rear shocks also look really old. So I figured its time to spend a little money.

I really want Bilstein HDs all the way around but I am a college student with limited funds. So how are Tokico Premium Shocks and Struts? Do they ride ok for the money?

I was also looking at Ford Upper Control Arms with new bushings from Ford and Maximum Motorsports standard Lower control arms. All of that will come out to around $700 which is what I want to spend around.

What are your opinions??

Sounds like some good upgrades. I've got the MM HD lowers, Ford Uppers from MM, and Bilstein HDs and like them all. I can't speak for the Tokicos, never had them.

I would also recommend the MM pinion snubber for lowered cars. It's not good that your sitting on your snubber. It is likely part of your problem.

By the way, that's a lot of power in a little Integra! Too bad its front wheel drive. Whats your best time in it? What tires did you use?

Yea I forgot to add that I was definatly getting a new snubber. Unfortunatly I just sold the Integra for financial reasons. Sucked having 2 sports cars and no daily. SO I am looking for a jeep. I had it just above 400hp when I sold it. Never had a LSD trans or axles and tires that were good. It was a high speed car. Got me in alot of trouble so I matured up and got rid of it. Best time I ever had was my only time at the track with it at 13.5@116 spinning into 3rd gear. But once that car got traction it pulled!

All of the parts you mentioned will make a nice setup. I wouldn't do it any different unless you had the extra cash for Bilsteins, but Tokicos will work good too.

well xmas is coming up so im trying to get the parents to go in on the bilsteins to help me out. Are the Heavy duty LCAs yellow?

All Bilsteins are yellow, but the HD's are the most common you will find. HD's are the way to go...

No I meant the Lower Control Arms. They have the Heavy Duty and the Extreme Duty.

I have the HD lowers and they are black. Call MM to see what color options they have.

Oops LOL... All MM suspension parts are powdercoated black, the yellow is only for illustration purposes.

i have tokico 5-way adjustibles and liked them at 1st but a year and half later there wore out

well I put in the order today. GOt Bilstein HD struts and shocks all the way around grooved for coil overs (in the future), heavy duty lower control arms, ford uppers, pinion snubber, and caster camber plates. woohoo!
