Maybe Only chance you have is in the beging. The cobra doesnt have as much down low torque as gt. But soon as he hits 5000 rpm say good bye.

I hate to say it but a cobra will bum rape you. Do the PI swap and you'll have a chance. Otherwise with just your current mods, no.

I guess it depends on elevation. How high is your track? My track is at 3000ft above sea level. If your not racing on everest those are some pretty ugly times.

fist of all you need to start practicing at the track. you need a good launch. try working on 2.0 as a 60ft

and that could have been a 94-95 cobra, either that or the guy can't hook his tires.

He stated it was a 97 Cobra in the title and first post. I used to live in Texas where the density altitude was almost 4000ft. and SN95 Cobra's were running low-mid 14's stock all day long. I don't think his elevation is anywhere near that in CA

LACR is 2,710 ft. above sea level.
ET: multiply your et (at LACR) by .97
MPH: multiply your mph (at LACR) by 1.03
This will give you the ET & MPH at sea level.

Thats what they have at their site.
