When we took the fender off of the passenger side we found that the air pump was not even hooked up and the hoses for it were just stuffed up under the fender

No they are going. I did not put the wood blocks in there. The car isn't mine either. I am just getting some practice before I do this to my car. I am going to pull the motor and trans. Repaint everything on the motor black. The paint scheme is going to be continued on the inside of the bay with the red on top black on bottom with the silver pinstripe seperating them. AC is coming out and battery is getting relocated. All of the holes in the engine bay are going to be filled and the wires are going to be tucked. I am hoping it will look good when i am done. I have never seen the bay cleaned up on a dual overhead cam engine bay so here it goes

I need to do this badly. How hard are fenders to remove on a new edge I wonder.

Ok I am pulling the motor, trans, and all front suspension this weekend to start with the wire tuck that way I can start patching up all the holes that will not be used to smooth out the engine bay.

Yeah I know. You would not believe all the s#$* he gets for having that setup like that. He is known as the cobra with the custom wood products under the hood. I need some input from anyone willing to give it. I am shaving the holes from the bay. On the front drivers side I am going to have a pretty significant piece of metal and i was wanting to do something different on the car. I am thinking of having someone cut out the word cobra and below that have the build number cut out as well. Then I was going to make a shallow box behind it and paint it up all nice. when you open the hood a neon shines through the cutout lighting the letters up. Now does that sound cool or just something a ricer would do.

So here are the pics of what we got done yesterday. Just ordered new KYB gas adjust shocks and struts for the front and back and lower ball joints as well as stabilizer shaft links. Lowering springs and tubular k member are next.

Picture of the drivers side before I started to tear the wires out. Will be starting on this side when the passenger side gets closer to being done.

This is after day one of removing the wires and filling some holes. I have started to cut out some of the panels I am going to be using to cover all the holes. I have also started grinding other spots and rerouting wires. or at least tried to figure out how i am going to route them.

Ok so we are getting ready to order a tubular k member, lowering springs, caster camber plates, offset rack bushings, fully forged internal kit for the 4.6 and get the valve covers, upper intake, alternator, C&l intake, throttle body and anything else we can think of on the motor powder coated black.
