before I got my 2000 GT, i had a 97 V6. I went ahead and put 99+ GT take-offs on it and put on a pair of Borla mufflers. It sounded pretty awesome for a V6, it was very deep and not ricey at any rpm. my neighbor said he could hear me starting the car and leaving from the inside of his house that was across the street. It my wasnt extremely loud, but it was plenty loud. i had my bro drive it and i drove his car behind my stang and i culd hear it clearly. it sounded pretty deep and wasnt stuffy either. I'll try and see if i have a clip of it somewhere around my house. hope this helps.
