97 with shaker hood?

Well i believe i have found a project i want to attempt. I have a 97 gt and i want to make it look unique from the others around my neighborhood. I decided i want to try out a shaker hood on my stang The only problem with this is, ive only found kits for the new edge stangs. I remember seeing in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords a sn95 aero with the shaker hood but i can't find the magazine. i was just wondering on tips and ideas on the shaker hood and if anyone has got some pics

On Horsepower TV a couple of years back they put one on a 1996 Mustang GT. I think it was called project nightmare. I can’t find anything on it but I did come across this horrible looking car.......

if i remember correctly, that dude actually own that mustang too...he was saying something about it on the episode where he installed 13" roush brakes front to back.... that car looked effin sick

O.P. if you can find a way to do it, go for it that would look sick as hell!!

that's the CDC kit, you can tell by the applique and you can kinda see the CDC plate on the lower front of the shaker box. They don't sell that item on their site any more but maybe they can point you to some one who does.

There was actually several episodes with Joes car. First couple were suspension, wheel, brake and the shaker hood. Then he installed the Vortech blower. Few episodes latter they brought it back to install the Aftercooler and modify the FMU and up the boost That was right around the same time they did an 03 Cobra. The Cobra blew me away cause it was 364 rwhp box stock and they picked up 43 more hp with just a Hypertech tuner. Was kinda funny because adding 4 more lbs of boost only gave another 12-18 rwhp
