Hi
I got a 97 gt a while back and i just found out that it has
had a PI intake swap done. Does any one know how much power this swap is worth. And does anyone have any idea what temperature i should set the thermostat to.

It is and automatic with headers, flowmasters, a K,N
filter, and the PI swap. My best time was 14.5 @ 96mph on Cooper Zeons. I was thinking about adding 3:73s. I would like to know what kind of power it is currently making and what else I should do to it.

Currently one of the O2 sensors is disconnected. What kind of impact would this have.

Not to much for the PI intake swap, ppl like foxlake say u can gain up to 85 Hp with the full conversion..but understand all that Hp is mainly your PI heads and Cam. your car bone stock puts around 160 to the wheels being that it is an automatic. The most i would say from this swap would be 10-20 HP but only a dyno can tell..good luck in that. U can purchase some PI heads for around 400.00 on ebay, and remember years 2001-2004 the PI heads were Romeo Heads (Aluminum) so try goin with those year heads to save for the weight. As for o2 sensor reconnect this as your Check Engine light will come on. Unless u run an o/r H or X pipe then u can buy a programmer to turn this off. U may cause your car to run rich or lean buy just keeping your 02 sensor unconnected.

Thanks man. Im really not sure what has been done to the car. i bought it used and i don't know the previous owner. The reason the O2 sensor is disconnected is because the wiring is bad to grind on the ground since my car is lowered. it keeps shorting out and leaving me stranded. Any advice.

How much would a set of cams cost and where could i find them.
