98 Cobra problem

Hello guys im trying to figure out a stalling problem on my 98 cobra... Usually when the car is warmed up, when u push on the break or steer the wheel it will stall (not in gear). I have read up on it and people say it is very common for the iac going out or needing to be clean which causes the car to stall and have replaced that and it did help a little but still stalls. Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be and can help me out with this? No mods except for KNN intake

I can't recall if the Mustang has one but it's worthwhile checking: How's the power steering pressure switch? Like I said, I can't recall if the car has one but if it does and it's disconnected or malfunctioning, the PCM won't know about extra loading on the power steering pump caused by a steering cramp or brake application and it won't adjust the IAC which may lead to idle instability or stalling...

umm i dont know about the switch itself cus my buddy works at a shop and i took it in and he could not find the power steering switch anywhere.. i know for sure the power steering pump is bad and i got another one just havnt installed it yet. But im not sure if that is whats causing it...

well i took it to get diagnosed and they said during inspection tech found a leak at lower intake manifold gasket. i dont know how much a gasket would cost or the labor. anyone have any ideas as to what i should be looking at??

Migropes:

It doesn't take too long to change the intake on the 2V engine so I think 2 to 3 hours of shop time plus the new gasket(s), so around $250 to $350 (2 or 3 * 100+50) then taxes and any 'environmental fees' (fluid disposal, etc.).

HTH,

Chris
