IIRC, I first did this in about 1999 on my previous 94 GT. I seem to remember the cup holder being black then. I then did this to my current 94 in May 2002. These are what the pics are from. The holder I got the second time around was dark charcoal. It's not really all that noticable. It matches my FR500 steering wheel. I imagine that once the supply of black 98's was gone, they got cross referenced over to the dark charcoal 99+ ones.
I ordered the parts (part numbers from the invoice) from my local dealer on 5/22/02:
Holder - F8ZZ6313562AAA $29.72
Mat - F8ZZ63047A74AAA $4.93
Of course, that was the cost then. Who knows what it's at now.
BTW - It seems like when I first did this in 99, they told me that the mat was like $60. I passed on it then. When I got it the second time around in 02, $5. Ford pricing.......

that is where my convertible top switch is. when i had my 2001, there was a rubber insert for sodas that fit into one of the cup holders. i would keep my change in that. a wiffle ball fit perfectly in it so that people couldn't see the change when they walked by and looked in the car. i would stash it in the console when i wasn't in the car.rockin_rick said:
