Hey guys, long story short... 5.0 motor from 98 explorer going into my 89GT. Does anyone know how much more power I will have? and what to expect? is this done a lot?

any info on this kind of swap would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance everyone!

Don't expect more power, camshaft has a different profile.

Sorry, no info on swap..make sure the dizzy, firing order and fuel line connections are similar.

just get rid of the DIS setup, firing order is the same, I would get a mild cam like an E303 and it would make some nice power, around 300 horse or so
