i just got back from having the car dyno'd. it was a little lower than i was hoping for 217.21rwhp & 268.76ftlbs. i thought the car was gonna be closer to 228-230hp & 280flbs. air- fuel was kinda lean, over 13.5 til about 3500rpms then steadly drop to 12.4-12.5 from 4500rpms til 5800rpms where i let off. my mods are in my sig and i have my timing set at 14*. im just wondering if this seems about right for my mods. im going to the track tomorrow so ill see what i run. i dont have a scanner so i cant post the dyno sheet

might be a bit low.

I ran the times in my sig with my 97, similar mods to your car minus the PI cams and tb. DA was around 800ft if I can remember, and 60 foot was 1.97.

Shift it at 5700-5900 with the PI gear in there.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

i did 3 runs. the 217 was the first run in 4th gear. did the 2nd run in 3rd and got 210. the 3rd run was in 4th with no air filter got 220 but the curves were choppy as hell

ill post up the results from the track when i get back. im hoping to squeak into the 13s but as long as im faster than my 14.27 ill be happy

don't worry about your times at all, focus on your trap speeds. See what the car is trapping and get the DA for the runs. Just make sure your 60fts are within a reasonable range and then you can see how quick the car is.

99% of the time dyno's are heart breakers, enjoy the car and try not to sweat the numbers.

X2. I have very similiar mods as you and was able to get decently under the 14s with minimal experience (only went twice to the track), so I'm sure you'll do fine. Watch the wheelspin off the line ~2.5 krpm launch and go with Winter's advice on shift points for a good jumping off point.
You don't need a scanner if you have a dig camera. Take a dig pic of the timesheet in good light and believe it or not, it comes out pretty good. Hope to see some sub 14s for ya and have fun doing it!

well just got back from the track. there where close to 300 cars there so i only got three runs

1st run: 4000rpm launch shifts @5700rpm
60ft........1.9747
330ft......5.7903
1/8th......9.0070@77.71mph
1000ft....11.7661
1/4.........14.1041@96.32mph

2nd run: 4200rpm launch spun all the way though 1st & half of 2nd
60ft........2.4866
330ft......6.5669
1/8th......9.8450@76.09mph
1000ft....12.6458
1/4.........15.0090@95.44mph

3rd run: 3800rpm launch bogged at first shifts @ 5700rpm
60ft........2.0655
330ft......5.9198
1/8th......9.1512@77.16mph
1000ft....11.9224
1/4.........14.2633@96.34mph

track was extremely sticky, but i got stuck running behind a dodge diesel and next to a chevy diesel so i had to deal with huge clouds of soot all day. all in all im happy i improved, but i thought the car had more in it. oh well theres always next time
oh the DA was 2541ft track elevation is 1200ft 56*f out 2day

14.1 is a pretty good run..

your dyno numbers look about right...comes out to about 255 engine hp...225 stock...plus about 30hp for your mods seems about right...

Just have fun with it...don't sweat the numbers...
